“ Emma and the hostess were absolutely fantastic... And Gus was helpful too. I went in expecting a casual diner with many options and they absolutely delivered. It's a great family run diner feel and I enjoyed the food and coffee. They've got some bigger seating areas for larger groups, but most are two and four person tables. Prices are very reasonable and portions are very good. ”
“ This place is still amazing. I used to go here with the dentist that I used to work for for lunch back in 2008 2009. The food is still excellent. The service is outstanding and since I've been here last, they've updated the decor. It is definitely people proof and so much for you to I have to take the leftovers home ”
“ Pancakes N Things is a consistently good food family-owned restaurant! There's a variety of menu options from classic breakfast to seafood breakfast and so much more. Even the coffee is hot, not strong enough for me, but it's hot, so that's a plus. The service is excellent. It's family-oriented, and everyone is always willing to make you feel welcome. The ambiance is a little outdated, but this is a family-owned establishment that has been around for many, many, many years and will stand the test of time against these commercial restaurants. ”
“ Cash Only! Just wanted to mention that first, but if you don't there is a teller inside that you're able to use. The decore is plain, but the service is great! It's a local favorite. And the portions they serve are huge. The menu is so vast, which is great. I don't think they left anything out when it comes to breakfast! I ordered one of their seafood speacial "shrimp combo" The shrimps where nice and big not over fried with 2 eggs , hashbrowns and toast. I'm a bacon lover, so had to order my side of bacon. If your not looking for fancy, but want a good big hearty breakfast. This is the place. I do recommend coming early as parking gets full, but there is an over flow parking across the street. I herd the biscuit is delicious, so definitely will be back! ”
“ It was delicious, service was excellent & ambiance was great!! I would recommend u try it when u get a chance. You won't be disappointed @ all. Great food, drinks , very friendly & attentive staff. For times u just want to let someone else do the cooking & be pampered a bit. Do it for yourself. Enjoy!! ”
“ 9.5 Out of 10...only reason I can't give them a perfect score is because of the esthetics of the restaurant as a whole. Could use a Decor makeover for a more upscale feel...And Cash Only Part was a lil Sketchy...But as for as the Food, service and price point...it is simply amazing and nothing to complain about...HIGHLY RECOMMEND and WILL Return ”
“ Second time here and this time came with a friend whom I gladly recommended this place; and she thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a wait around 15 to 20 minutes, but was worth it. Got coffee (free refills for $2.95) and steak omelet with provolone cheese (charged extra) with grits (or potato hash) and toast (or biscuit). Service was friendly. Just remember to bring cash since they don't accept credit card or check. They have an ATM in an alcove by the entrance. You pay $2 ATM fee but they refund the $2 if your bill is at least $20. Btw always packed and hard to find parking in their lot but you can park in the lot next McDonald's across the street. ”
“ This diner is a hidden gem. The decor is simple and fitting. The staff was wonderful. We ordered our food and it was brought to us promptly and hot. Absolutely DELICIOUS! It can get busy so there may be a slight wait but there is a long bench for you to sit on. They also have an ATM- keep in mind, they only accept cash. We both had breakfast and I look forward to going back and trying the lunch. ”
“ Definitely a hometown favorite IYKYK ... me and my family/friends have been eating at this family owned restaurant for years. They have a great variety featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner options throughout the whole day . My favorites ... Fish and egg combo including your choice of home fries or grits and toast or biscuits... 2x2 With pancakes or the pork chops or a burger!!! As you can see I have a long list of go to's !!!! Hopefully you can stop and see what your soon to be favorites are !!! Their located right off Indian River Road across from 7/11 and McDonalds !! ”
